“Lovely Palace and interesting history; I read the information boards throughout the venue to find out the history. I stayed for ages and read my book as its such a relaxing place. I couldnt use audio guide as I'm deaf and lipread. The staff tried to find someone but unfortunately no-one was available; I did explain sign language not required, as I grew up lipreading. I did see a Spanish tour guide with a group ( I knew this because I could lipread some of the Spanish spoken by her ). In all fairness it was my mistake to assume there would be a tour guide person.
